I’m sorry you cried alone when all you needed was love,

Just know I’m going to give you all the love you’ll ever need for the rest of our lives,

Thank you for being so brave even when the world broke you in all the worst ways,

I’m sorry no one saw how pure your heart was,

So much so it over filled with hate for too long,

You’ll be happy to know we’ve healed,

And our heart is now over filled with love,

You are the core foundation as to why we are kind,

Why we have compassion,

And why we set boundaries out of self love,

So thank you for loving me enough to keep going even when you had no idea who we’d become,

I’m also sorry for the times we could not find enough words,

You’ll be happy to know,

It is now one of our best qualities and it feels like home,

All I ask is that you don’t ever forget how much I love you…
